2 Self Help Books Away From Being Perfect is a screwball comedy about a bright-eyed Brooklynite who naively uses self help principles to find love.

When Kimmy Monroe (Kimberly Young), a hopelessly optimistic lab technician learns that her dreamboat office crush  Dr. Ben Hewitt (Nate Gill) is engaged to be married, she sets off on a awkward and humiliating journey to discover love in the city.

Winner of Best Web Original at the 2016 American Black Film Festival, 2 Self Help Books Away From Being Perfect is a screwball coming of age comedy that explores themes surrounding identity, female friendship, and self love.  The series is directed by Lopez Williams, written by Kimberly Young and produced by Park + Haven Productions
