Poetry

Aquamarine Interlude

On a dock

in my wind veered mind

sat four hazy months  in Chicago

(it wasn’t my season to city there)

when out of some drift

you kissed me — like mist

risen from Lake Michigan

– moist but depth unknown.

I softened.

A sponge on a pier in morning dew.

Ooooweee! I’m a grown ass man and blushing! That was hot! Very tender and all that mushy stuff. Loved it! It said a whole lot to be so short and sweet.
