Hot Tamala
Tamala Jones believes some of the bumps she encountered along the way were of her own making, as in what goes around comes around. “I was mean to people growing up,” she says. “I would talk about people really bad, hurt people’s feelings and know I was hurting their feelings.” But after enduring so much difficulty herself, she took a closer look at the chica in the mirror and instituted some changes. “I didn’t want to die and have people show up at my funeral saying, ‘Tamala was an absolute B-I-T-C-H.’”
