The F.R.E.S.H. Book Festival is an engaging weekend of entertainment in the forms of film, books, author presentations, focus groups, and of course, good music.​

Traditionally, authors travel to F.R.E.S.H. for a time to network with fellow authors, meet with readers and fans, and yes, sell books! In 2021, F.R.E.S.H. goes virtual and international with BAMM! Books Authors Movies & Music. F.R.E.S.H. Book Festival 2021 promises to be epic, as they celebrate 10 years of bringing authors, readers, and the community together!

AALBC’s participated in the 2020 Festival and will be participating again this year on Friday.

About the F.R.E.S.H. Book Festival

Donna M. Gray- Banks Founder

Donna M. Gray-Banks is the Founder and Director of the F.R.E.S.H. Book Festival, which is one of the largest book festivals held in Volusia/Flagler Counties in the State of Florida.  The Festival began in 2011, and the City of Daytona Beach began sponsorship of the Festival in 2012.  Gray-Banks is the author of a very successful trilogy, Ila’s Diamonds I, II, and III. She is currently working her fourth book, The House that Jack Built.

Donna is also the Executive Director of the Midtown Community Development Corporation (MCDC) in the City of Daytona Beach, whose mission is to “change communities one block at a time.”

Gray-Banks is also the host of a weekly radio show, “A F.R.E.S.H. Conversation” on Joy 106.3 FM Daytona Beach.  The show airs each Monday night from 8:00 – 9:00 PM.

Ms. Banks is the proud mother of Gregory Taylor Banks.  Her siblings Christine Hogan, Gilbert Gray, and Jackson Gray, Jr., are the rocks on which she stands.  Donna resides in the beautiful City of Palm Coast, Florida.
