Educational Children’s Book on Natural & Healthy Foods and How Yummy Good They Are To Eat
Book reveals healthy delicious foods and how they can be eaten for young children ages two to eight and ways to discover the goodness in food
CHARLOTTE, North Carolina
Authors Helen Hope Kimbrough and Cynthia Jackson have released a new children’s book on natural and healthy foods for young children. Yummy Healthy Tasties In My Tummy was inspired by seeing many children eat processed foods rather than enjoy the taste of natural foods. Both have come up with a unique way to make eating healthy fun, creative, and educational. Plus, they are encouraging families to invest and get involved on introducing their child to natural yummy healthy foods.
Yummy Healthy Tasties In My Tummy is a book filled with beautiful illustrations by Marcia Noisette Wood and tasty food images prepared and photographed by Cynthia Jackson. Additionally, there is a catchy chant entitled The Yummy Tummy Chant written by Helen Hope Kimbrough that keeps the book interesting and exciting. In no time, children will be chanting and wanting healthy foods.
Helen Hope Kimbrough is from Athens, Georgia and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Hampton University. She is the author of four multicultural children’s books entitled Ocean Waves and Other Tales, Play Dates and Other Tales, My Soul/African American Spirituals: Embracing the Journey, and her latest book, Yummy Healthy Tasties in My Tummy, which will truly inspire children and families to eat healthy.
For over a decade, Helen has committed herself to interactive storytelling, writing, and literacy initiatives to support children and families. This is apparent in her commitments with nonprofits like Reading Partners, Promising Pages, the Literacy Council of Union County, the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Library Foundation, Jack & Jill of America, Incorporated, and as a 2016 award honoree by the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in North Carolina for her role in making reading fun, engaging, and life-changing.
Currently, Helen resides in Charlotte, North Carolina with her husband and sons.
