Taquoya Porter is a multi-talented entrepreneur who is living in her purpose and working on the vision that she wrote down and continues to manifest with the passing of each day. A lover of God, family, young people, and missions work – the mother of two travels the globe preaching and serving others.

As a woman of faith, Porter serves as the youth pastor to over 150 young adults at Turning Point Church. And she’s no stranger to leadership, having been a Sunday School teacher since the age of 16. Determined to use every gift placed within her, Porter has coordinated medical clinics, food distribution, and crusades in the Dominican Republic. The one thing she knows for sure is that God is real.

Seen nationally on the nationally syndicated talk show “The Vantage Pointe,” the co-host is known for her passion and outreach. “I love serving. I have been blessed to be a wife, mom, minister, youth pastor, TV host, and a missionary,” Porter tells Heart & Soul.

What advice would you give to new entrepreneurs?
Don’t pursue a dollar, pursue purpose. Work the vision. Being a visionary is hard work, you must have a purpose behind it.

What can people expect from you in this next chapter of 2021?
I just released a book, “It’s Too Quiet: a book about prayer” and I am hoping to purchase a building in the Dominican Republic to provide sustainable services there. I am prayerfully considering a few other missionary trips. I have some speaking engagements and a lot of great and godly things planned for our youth here in Indianapolis. I am also blessed to be a co-host on a Christian Women’s talk show, Vantage Pointe.

What advice would you give to the entrepreneur who wants to give up?
If God is for you, who are you to quit? You have to figure out “if” He is for you and act accordingly.
