How to be Fit and Fearless

By: Kai Stansberry

The important thing about fearlessness isn’t the absence of fear—it’s the mastery of fear. Being fearless means getting up one more time than you fall down. To live in fear is the worst insult to our true selves.

Meet Jackie.  Jackie was one of the many guests that joined {Fit for Soul} for the {Stand Up in the City} fitness event in August.  Despite a fear of falling in the water, Jackie chose to stretch the limits of what she could do, and in the process, became truly fearless.

You’re only as successful as your thoughts. Landing a dream job, persuading investors, inspiring your staff, and tackling new goals in life – all require the effective transmission of your thoughts. Don’t let fear get in the way of achieving your full potential. If you recognize that fear is holding you back, take steps today to master your fear.

And although Jackie’s fear became a reality when she fell into the water, she realized it wasn’t all that bad. “I was so happy that I conquered my fear,” Jackie said confidently.  “I realized it’s just important to try something new – even if it scares you.”

Ask yourself:

  • What areas of your life do you need to begin working on to become more fearless?
  • Are you letting your age, race, or gender stop you from achieving your dreams?
  • What small step can you take today?

Share your thoughts with us.

THANK YOU {Jackie}, for allowing {Heart and Soul Magazine/TV} and {Fit for Soul} to share your experience.  We appreciate you!
