I am going into my 10th year as a trainer. My training Qualifications are PTA Global certification, Aerobics & Fitness Association of America Certification, and National Council for Certified Personal Trainers.

How did you know you wanted to be a professional trainer?

I knew I wanted to be a trainer for the positive changes it brought not only into my life but in the lives of the clients and individuals I have the opportunity to work with.

How did you get started?

My Junior Year at Morgan State University studying physical education concentration pre-physical therapy I spoke with my advisor about the struggles of my schedule balancing the job search and academics. Soon after my advisor presented information me with the idea of getting into the personal training business. At the time it was right up my alley due to my passion for physical fitness. Especially the flexibility in scheduling and the ability to positively influence the life of another.

Why did you decide to start your own business?

Decided to start my own business because I felt like it was time to take my talents to new heights and change my focus demographic to the youth.

What advice do you give someone on why they need a trainer?

The best reason for having a trainer  is that there is a lot of Physical and mental obstacles that a person cannot handle on there own when it comes to reaching their individual fitness goals. Having a trainer is similar to having a coach and playbook for your goals. The trainer’s professional guidance can provide the confidence and programming necessary to reach personal milestones.

What does success look like to you?

Success in this business is measured by client success, when the clients reach new heights and/or surpass previous physical limitations.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

In the next five years I see myself excelling as a traveling personal trainer and/or owning a facility.
