Callie Day- Her New Single “In Trouble”

Simon Cowell told Callie Day after hearing her sing on “America’s Got Talent”, “If anyone ever asks me what gospel means, I’m going to say listen to you”.  Prior to blowing the judges away all the way to the judges cuts on the show, including Jay Leno, Katy Perry, and Gabrielle Union, Callie had already gone viral on social media after a video of her singing “Hear my Prayer” received over 24 million views.  Callie has fans all over the world including notable artists and celebrities like Jennifer Hudson, Fantasia, Ricky Smiley, Boris Kodjoe, Ledisi and Brandy just to name a few.  “In Trouble” is her latest single and with the state of the world, everyone should hear her angelic voice deliver a message that is needed during this time of crisis.

Calesta “Callie” Day, a doctoral candidate at the University of Kentucky, is a native of Atlanta, Georgia.  As a preacher’s kid “PK” she grew up singing in church, and has been singing her entire life.  Day earned her Associates Degree in Vocal Performance from Sinclair Community College, her Bachelor’s Degree in Vocal Performance from Bowling Green State University, and a Master’s in Education with a Concentration in Music from the University of Dayton.  She has performed with various operas and has toured abroad with the American Spiritual Ensemble and the UK Opera.  Callie loves the Lord, is classically trained, and is passionate about sharing her talent with her students through vocal lessons.
