Tell us about your business.
My business is all things real estate. I am primarily based in Central Florida as a Realtor and actively involved in development projects in South Florida and the Caribbean. I consult and assist individuals around the globe with their real estate needs from start to finish, from finding the right agent to work with, buying & selling real estate to managing real estate investments and development. There are two sides of my business; the first is residential, My Orlando team and I assist our clients with a wide range of real estate needs including – national & international relocation, finding the right realtor to work with based on individual needs and location, consultation, investing, and buying & selling residential real estate. The second side of my business is more on the commercial side of the industry. I am also an executive partner with the New York and China based East West Holdings. We bring diverse expertise in commercial real estate, investment, investment immigration, parking development operations & technology, design/build, development planning and design, property management and art products. We are currently partnered with and assisting a new and innovative South African smart hotel franchise enter the US market which is an excellent opportunity I would love to discuss with anyone that is interested.
What kind of experience should one expect when working with you?
I grew up in a real estate family and have been a licensed Realtor in 2 states and active in the industry for over 13 years. I received my bachelor’s degree in marketing and Business-to-Business marketing certification from Ferris State University in 2010. My experience and real estate knowledge is extensive in a broad range of real estate sales and consulting functions as both a domestic and international real estate and investment consultant. Over the years I have been blessed to acquire a comprehensive understanding from investors and business owner’s perspective in real estate, financial analysis, business & real estate law, and economics & research. I am skilled in negotiations, sales, business to business marketing and team management. I have also secured contracts and managed multiple restoration projects for commercial mixed use and housing real estate properties. I have also owned and managed my own personal investment properties since 2014.
What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
Valuing my freedom and time as well as creating and leaving generational wealth and financial knowledge for my family is the main source that inspired me to become an entrepreneur. Also being an example to the youth that there are MANY ways to create wealth.
How do you manage the competition in your industry?
I am aware of other individuals and businesses that provide similar services in this industry, however I find that doing good & honest business with people, continually learning & staying up-to-date with the latest most efficient technology and foreseeing market trends is what’s most important and what sets me apart from competition.
What was your experience like as a teacher & coach?
Before I decided to be in real estate full time, shortly after my football career I taught k-12 and coached varsity football. My experience in doing so was a humbling experience and I was grateful to have the opportunity to give back to the young men and women in the community. It’s especially important and gratifying for me to be able to pour knowledge into the youth and help build and teach young people how to survive and what life is really about.
What advice would you give to a young person seeking to become an entrepreneur?
I tell young people all the time that entrepreneurship is the key to creating freedom and generational wealth. Once you decide what you want to do as an entrepreneur it’s always beneficial to find yourself a mentor who has business or industry knowledge to learn from. In life it is important to stay true to yourself and continuously stay positive, don’t hope for the outcome you want, expect it and the universe will have no choice but to give it you. Look at life as a continual growth process, don’t ask the question how do I get over, but ask the question how do I get better. Focus on becoming a better individual everyday and success will come. In business, no matter the industry, it’s important to understand that failure and pain isn’t a bad thing, we need it in order to understand what success and growth is. For every door that closes another always opens if your mind is open enough to see it.
Where do you see your career in the next five years?
All I can say is that I’ll continually improve my craft and grow. Continue to educate myself in the Real Estate industry and strive to be the best International Real Estate Consultant and agent that I can be. I’ll always stay open minded and instrumental in raising people’s awareness in real estate, educating and working alongside like minded individuals. I expect to have a greater global reach in the real estate industry, create more partnerships and help ANYONE along the way that wants to create wealth in real estate.
