Tell us about the Pink Frog Foundation.

The Pink Frog Foundation, Inc. was founded by me and my husband Robert H. Bolton in July 2012.  The Foundation is dedicated to providing support services to individuals while they are undergoing breast cancer treatment. These services include the Pink Frog Buddy Support System, Maid Service, Nutrition Support and Transportation Assistance.

What inspired you to create this nonprofit organization?

I believe that God healed me for a reason. I was inspired to start The Pink Frog Foundation to give back in the same manner people did for me while I was going through treatment at the age of 32. I came to the realization that everyone doesn’t have the same support network that I had, so I started to Foundation to provide maid service, nutrition support, transportation assistance and the Pink Frog Buddy System, which partners patients with breast cancer survivors who provide moral support and encouragement.

Tell us about some of the successes accomplished by the Pink Frog Foundation.

The Foundation’s leadership has been recognized for its work in the community by The Atlanta Falcons/Arthur Blank Foundation, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. Atlanta Chapter, Hillside Truth International Truth Center and the Atlanta City Council. In addition, the Foundation has been able to generate over $400,000 to support individuals with services.

Where do you see your organization in the next five years?

In the next five years, I see The Pink Frog Foundation receiving more funding to enable us to expand services to support more individuals in the broader community. In addition, we would like to increase partnerships with health organizations in an effort to be the agency of choice for providing services to their patients who are undergoing breast cancer treatment.
