Good day, you’ve found me in the presence of the 2020 Rolls-Royce Cullinan, the baddest and most luxurious SUV on the planet. It’s the business, made for epic journeys, your ultimate transport. So much so that it has even won an off-road rally.

Unearthed in South Africa in 1905 and titled after Thomas Cullinan, the Cullinan Diamond was the largest gem-quality, rough diamond ever discovered. Today, it rolls in the form of bespoke British craftsmanship. This $426,700 ($330,000 MSRP) piece of jewelry is highlighted by a $20,000 Twilight Purple paint scheme and a contrasting $8,000 Silver Satin Bonnet Finish. The nearly 3-ton Cullinan can be seen a mile away with its massive upright grille headed by the deployable Spirit of Ecstasy and pompous hue. The luxury liner controls the road with a 6.75-liter V12 Twin-Turbocharged engine that moves with authority, 22” twin-spoke light-alloy wheels, and a Rolls-Royce Independent air suspension which had my guests believing they were riding in the cloud.

The $10,000 Rolls-Royce Bespoke Audio system, plush lambswool carpets, an intuitive 10.25” multi-media center and Spirit of Ecstasy Rotary Controller, and traditional door embedded umbrellas keep the opulent Double RR fulfilling. But the rear is where the Cullinan makes its name with the $20,000 Viewing Suite for relaxing and gazing at ocean sunsets with a loved one. Or, in my case, birthday parties for my teen daughter Aya who just turned 14. At the touch of a button, you will discover a set of leather fold-out chairs and a requisite center table for meals or drinks. Brilliant!

Yes, I highly enjoyed my 72-hour Royal experience. So remember the name; the name is Cullinan!
