Tell us about the time when you realized that you could sing professionally?
I think the first time I realized I could sing professionally was in high school. I was always active in talent shows, fashion shows, on the debate team you name it. It was my senior year and everyone was asking what was my crew going to do. Then is when I realized that people followed me creatively. The idea that people were looking to me to see what I would do next made me realize there was something there.
What is your favorite song to sing and why?
My favorite song to sing would be Mary J. Blige’s “Love No Limit”. That song is so mellow and jazzy at the same time. I am a hopeless romantic so it’s my favorite. I sang it at The Gentlemen’s Ball in 2014.
What inspires you to write your songs?
Life inspires me to write songs. I write about things I have experienced or things I have witnessed friends go through. I like to write about the things that happen in everyday life, that people can see themselves in.
What gives you the motivation to be in the entertainment industry as it is clearly competitive?
I am motivated to share the gifts I have been blessed with. I believe in living a full life, I am only competing with myself. I want to make sure I am growing becoming better as I move through my career.
What does success look like to you?
Success is happiness. Waking up every day excited to do what I do is a success. Being comfortable enough in my skin to explore new ideas is key for me.
Tell us about your commitment to your community?
My commitment to the community is twofold. One I want to make sure I am working in the world to create access and safe spaces for those who do not share the same privilege and access that I have. That spans socio-economic, gender, race, and sexual identity. Then I have my community activism. I think housing is a human right, I also believe people deserve a living wage. This is an area of passion for me I can go on and on.
Tell us about the most challenging thing that you had to overcome.
In life, there are so many challenges to overcome. One of my greatest challenges was when I was 20 years old I was shot in both of my legs. I was walking to get into my car and two guys run up on me. He put a gun to my head and laid me on the ground. I was shot in both legs, I could not stand. A person ran out and picked me up and took me into their home until recuse arrived. It took about 9 months to walk again independently. That was one of the-darkest points of my life. I still have scars from the wombs today.
Where would you like to see your music career in the next five years?
In the next five years, I would like to see my music on more soundtracks and commercials. I have done tours but I would like to be part of a major world tour. I want my audience to grow in a meaningful organic way.

He states, “Music Was my escape as achild. I was very shy and I didn’t fit in. Music is the only thing that gave me comfort.”
Having shared the stage with some of the industry greats, this Urban Gentleman is poised to take the industry by storm with his new EP “WORTHY” available December “My music is evolving into a movement of LOVE. lam only singing things that I love and am passionate about.’
