What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

Prior to the march of 2020 (the pandemic), I spent almost five years bartending in the Atlanta club and nightlife scene. Two years into me bartending, I began to notice the aesthetic effects alcohol was having on my body. The toxins were stored in my thighs behind fat pockets, creating more noticeable cellulite and making the skin on my stomach lose. Being that I worked in many of the clubs that required uniforms that showcased our bodies, I was determined to find a natural solution to fix the problem because for me surgical procedures were just not an option.

Let’s rewind back to 2013 after having my daughter I was diagnosed with Crohn’s disease and decided I want to heal in a holistic way, so I went on a naturopathic journey for two years. In that period I obsessed over wellness and learned a lot about natural herbs and their detoxifying properties. Now fast forward to 2017 me bartending in the club and needing to find a solution for my body. I tried several different body wraps and non-invasive treatments for skin tightening and inch loss and saw some difference, but because of my previous learnings I knew I needed something that could penetrate down to the cellular level in the body. So that’s when the light bulb came on and I became the herbalist in the lab crafting a formula to give a solution to the problem like myself that most women have.

How has covid 19 impacted your business?

Covid 19 has impacted my business tremendously. We closed for quarantine and couldn’t operate during that time but we are lucky to be in Atlanta because we were able to open up much sooner than the rest of the country. Covid 19, as unfortunate as it was actually truly helped my business. When quarantine was over everybody was ready to get back out there and work on their body and routine! We actually sold out of online products as well because there was such high demand for online products.

In such a competitive market, how do you maintain your viability?

When I was located in Atlanta, GA it was very competitive and hard to survive. When I moved my store to Conyer, GA there was a much higher need for my business because they don’t have anything with holistic healing & wellness in this area. It was an open market for me and now we are thriving!

What is the production process like to create your products and merchandise?

I actually hand make all of my products! I have a wellness center with a kitchen and everything is made in house! I also don’t use preservatives so I make everything in small batches so my clients get it pretty much as fresh as it comes.

Where would you like to see your business in the next five years?

I see myself opening multiple store locations in different communities where they aren’t catering to holistic health. I also want to create a wellness center and get my products in stores like Whole Foods.
