What inspired you to write a book?
My journey in business as a melanated woman, working in a male dominated industry, initially inspired me to write a book. As my journey played out, I realized that we all are seeking the same thing, and we all are truly connected. Sharing some of my experiences to save someone else the heartache of my pitfalls definitely fuels and inspires me to continue to write
How has becoming an author changed your life?
Becoming an author has changed my life in so many ways. Being able to travel the world, while sharing valuable, life changing knowledge is very rewarding. Seeing the information that I share change peoples hearts and minds has been a blessing.
Tell us about your healing/transformation process.
I was married to an abusive husband 9 years. Sadly, the abuse became normal. I stayed entirely too long. After twelve years I could no longer look myself in the mirror. I knew I was better than the circumstance. Taking the leap to leave the situation showed me that not only was I brave, but there was something greater on the other side. Healing has so many layers and levels. Stepping out into the unknown can be very scary. So many of us walk around unknowingly wounded. Spending time alone has been very beneficial to my healing process. I strongly suggest re-introducing yourself, to you!
What advice do you have for other women seeking to make a better life for themselves?
For any women who wants to better her life, I would ask her to analyze the odds of one sperm, meeting one egg, on the day you were conceived. That alone is a miracle. To understand how many things have to align for creation to bring us into manifestation is no accident. That is proof that you are here for a reason. Your here now, may as well make the most of it! Lol!
What has been the most memorable compliment you have gotten from someone who read your book?
The biggest compliment I have received is that I sparked a total mindset shift in someones paradigm.
What does success look like to you?
Success to me is being able to do what I want, when I want. Living in flow, ease, and harmony.
Where do you see your life in the next five years?
In the next five years I will be married, traveling the world teaching and sharing my gifts with the world.
