What inspired you to become an actor?
My inspiration to become an actor stems from my love for making people laugh and entertaining others. Growing up in a large family filled with siblings and cousins, I was surrounded by joy and creativity. Watching talented actors on screen inspired me to pursue the performing arts as a way to share that joy with the world.
How do you stay motivated in such a competitive industry?
I stay motivated in this industry primarily through my faith in God and Jesus Christ. I focus on becoming the best version of myself, believing that what is meant for me will find its way to me. I approach my journey with faith and action, viewing the industry not just as competitive but as a path filled with destiny and purpose.
What has been your favorite role and why?
So far, my favorite role has been Pico from “P-Valley.” This character is quite different from who I am, which made the experience rewarding. It was a pleasure to work with such a talented cast and to portray someone I’ve seen reflected in my life while stepping outside of my comfort zone.
What advice would you give someone who seeks to work as an actor?
My advice for aspiring actors is to learn the craft thoroughly and seek opportunities to get on set in any capacity. Surround yourself with people who believe in you and nurture your dreams. Remember,Faith is of upmost importance ,persistence is key—don’t give up, even when things take longer than you expect.
What does success look like for you?
For me, success embodies peace and abundance. It means doing what I love every day, having the freedom to go wherever I desire, spending time with loved ones, and living life on my own terms.
