Who:
UNCF (United Negro College Fund) is the nation’s largest and most effective minority education organization. To serve youth, the community and the nation, UNCF supports students’ education and development through scholarships and other programs, strengthens its 37 member colleges and universities, and advocates for the importance of minority education and college readiness.

What:
The 2020 UNCF Homecoming: An HBCU Experience is a celebratory kickoff reception and press junket that will announce this year’s honoree HBCU alum, Golden GlobeEmmy®-nominated actor, and producer Anthony Anderson. Debuting on February 11 at the Casita Hollywood, the soirée will highlight the ultimate HBCU experience and recognize several prominent individuals for their leadership in their communities and for supporting UNCF’s mission of education, equity and justice

Why:
This celebratory reception and press junket will act as a sneak peek, to the highly anticipated Mayor’s Ball providing attendees with a preview of what to expect during the ceremony. This event will also increase brand awareness and call attention to the UNCF organization, its mission to serve minority education and the largest community engagement and fundraising event of the year.
