I WAS REALLY BORNED INTO IT. But this Executive part of the business started in church YES, in church.

As a black woman, what are some of the challenges you face in the entertainment industry?

Being a female in a male dominated arena can be difficult. There’s a perception that women are not as strong as a man but in fact we can stand right in the same ring.

My Life

If you know me you know I’m a FAN for this lady!! The heart and passion of the lyrics in her music or the texture and tone in her voice buys you into her story and song.  The consistency of who she is and stories these records over the years has been the embed to my life!

What advice do you have for someone who wants to sing professionally?

Ask yourself are you willing to “SHOW UP” every day. Are you willing to work take instructions and be guided to where you want to be.

What has been the most valuable lesson you have learned in the entertainment world?

Not to blur the lines in business. Your Integrity lives on and goes before you do keep in mind when you can’t stand true you must reevaluate if your fit to be in this business.

What is music to our culture?

It’s the life line of our being. Music is the Mental. You can experience something good, bad or indifferent and place a song that can best demonstrate how you were feeling in that moment. It’s incredible!!

Where do you see your career in the next five years?

I see my career making an impact on the support system. No artist or Label can survive without the heartbeat of who runs or supports their vision. I’m developing a plan to “Help Manager’s to M-A-N-A-G-E YOU” no one looks out for their health or wellbeing it’s time to balance them so they can promote and handle their business efficiently.
