What inspired you to work in real estate?
Initially, I started with just wanting my own sense of stability so I left Los Angeles during the pandemic and bought a house in Florida. Once I experienced the personal rewards of homeownership, I want to multiple that for myself and it lead me to real estate investing.
What are the things that you require before purchasing real estate?
I have to know the value and condition of the surrounding homes. That’s one of the most important things to me. That also means it’s really important to have a knowledgeable and helpful agent. It’s really important to me to work with an agent who’s patient, informative and flexible.
Tell us about your most valued lesson you have learned as an entrepreneur.
I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned as an entrepreneur is that knowledge is truly more valuable than money. Being open and willing to constantly learning new things and staying pliable will make and save so much money for your business.
How do you stay in the loop of the ongoing growth and development in the real estate industry?
I love Google alerts! I input my keywords I want for real estate and it sends me the latest on what’s happening in the market. I also tend to block out time a few times a week to read and research on news or existing fundamentals of real estate. I’m still learning so much about this industry because it’s always changing!
What does success look like for you?
To me, success is total and complete contentment and acting within your purpose. Success is the state of truly experiencing the fulfilling feeling of acting within your purpose and knowing its benefit yourself and others.
Where would you like to see your career in the next five years?
In the next 5 years, I’d love to be sharing more of the knowledge I acquire with others who need this insight into real estate and entrepreneurship. I truly believe that knowledge is the most valuable thing a person can acquire. If I can continue to do that in as many ways that are available to me, I will.
