The World Conference of Mayors (WCM) has endorsed the 15th Annual Month of Non-Violence, Voters Rights, Self Worth and Understanding Artificial Intelligence, scheduled for October 2026.
“We are honored to partner with the World Conference of Mayors (WCM) who are supporting our mission to stop violence, encourage voting and to learn AI,” said Dr. Stephanie Myers, President and Honorable Daun S. Hester, Chairman of the Board, Positive Change Foundation, and National Co-Chairs, Black Women for Positive Change. “We appreciate that Honorable Johnny Ford, Mayor Emeritus, Tuskegee, AL, and Founder, World Conference of Mayors, and Mayor Alberta McCrory, of Hobson, Alabama, and President, World Conference of Mayors, are partnering with us to produce social media, to encourage GenZs and first-time voters to vote, and to promote violence prevention workshops worldwide.”

Dr. E. Faye Williams, Sr. Advisor, World Conference of Mayors, and member, Black Women for Positive Change stated, “Mayors are leaders across the world and people listen to them. We are encouraging national and global members of the World Conference of Mayors to organize events during October 2026 to focus on violence prevention, understanding artificial intelligence and to encourage young people to vote.”
Over 15 years, the Positive Change Foundation and Black Women for Positive Change, has partnered with Everytown for Gun Safety, National Black Nurses Association, National Association for Community Mediation, Mediators Beyond Borders International, Trusted Inc., World Conference of Mayors, 100 Fathers Inc., Dick Gregory Society, and the DC Peace Team. During October 2025, there were 45 events in the United States and ten countries overseas that focused on violence prevention, peace circles, and helped people to learn about Artificial Intelligence.
