For decades, working Americans have contributed to Social Security, trusting that their hard-earned benefits would be available upon retirement. This program is not a handout; it’s a promise—a contract between the government and its citizens. But that promise is now under attack. The same billionaires and politicians who have never worked a regular job in their lives are scheming to gut your benefits, robbing you of the money YOU paid in—while giving tax breaks to the ultra-rich. And they’re doing it in broad daylight, betting that you’re too distracted to notice. Wake the f* up.**
The $1.7 Trillion Heist
Social Security is NOT part of the national debt. The government has borrowed over $1.7 trillion from the Social Security Trust Fund to cover its reckless spending, promising to pay it back. But now? They’re looking for ways to avoid repaying that debt—because their real priority is keeping tax breaks for billionaires. Even Ronald Reagan, a Republican icon, made it clear that Social Security is self-funded and does NOT contribute to the deficit:
“Social Security has nothing to do with the deficit. Social Security is totally funded by the payroll tax levied on employer and employee. If you reduce the outgo of Social Security, that money would not go into the general fund to reduce the deficit.”
That’s straight from Reagan’s mouth. So why are today’s conservatives pretending that Social Security is a drain on the economy? Because they don’t want to pay back the money they stole. The 2017 Trump Tax Cuts—which overwhelmingly benefited corporations and the ultra-wealthy—are set to expire. And rather than let the rich pay their fair share, they’re planning to gut Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid to fund more handouts for billionaires. They’ve already looted your money once. Now, they want to steal your future, too.
Elon Musk & the Billionaire-Backed War on Social Security
If you’re wondering who’s cheering this on, look no further than Elon Musk and his fellow billionaire elites—people who have never had to rely on Social Security, never worked a blue-collar job, and never lived paycheck to paycheck. Musk, in his infinite wisdom, recently claimed that Social Security is filled with “waste and fraud” and suggested it should be “restructured”—a billionaire’s favorite word for “let’s make it useless for working people.” He even threw out a wild, baseless claim that cutting fraud in the system could save $1 trillion. Sounds shocking, right? Except it’s complete bulls*.**
A real audit by the Social Security Administration found that only 86 cases in one state involved payments continuing after death. The total? A whopping $619,000 per year—not even a drop in the bucket.
But Musk isn’t the only one working to gut these programs.

These are kids straight out of college or right-wing think tanks, parachuted into government positions to eliminate programs that they will never have to rely on. They’ve never had to budget for rent, worry about healthcare, or imagine what life would be like without a financial safety net. And yet, these are the people auditing and dismantling Social Security.
They are not experts. They are not qualified. They are political pawns, assigned to destroy the very system that millions of Americans depend on. It’s bulls*, and we should all be furious.**
Project 2025: The Blueprint to Destroy Social Security

It’s part of Project 2025, a real initiative designed by far-right think tanks to dismantle Social Security, Medicare, and other social programs. Their plan? Raise the retirement age so you have to work until you drop dead. Cut benefits so you struggle to survive. Privatize Social Security, forcing you to gamble your retirement on the stock market while billionaires make billions off your life savings. Make no mistake—they don’t want to fix Social Security. They want to destroy it. And if they succeed, you’ll get nothing after decades of paying in.
If They Kill Social Security, We Want Every Dime Back
Here’s the deal: If they gut Social Security, I want EVERY SINGLE DIME I paid in—plus interest. You paid into this system for decades under the promise that it would be there for you. Expose the Lies – Billionaires like Musk are pushing fake numbers and false narratives to confuse people. Call them out. Share the truth. Spread the word.
Demand That the Rich Pay Their Fair Share – Right now, Elon Musk stops paying into Social Security after a few days of earnings because income over $168,600 (as of 2024) is NOT taxed for Social Security. That means a billionaire pays a LOWER percentage into Social Security than a teacher or construction worker. That’s bulls***.
WAKE THE F* UP: THIS IS YOUR MONEY. YOUR FUTURE. YOUR FIGHT.**
They are stealing from you in broad daylight. The people trying to gut Social Security have never worked a regular job, never lived paycheck to paycheck, never worried about retirement.
