I chose entrepreneurship because I value the freedom to shape my own destiny and enjoy the endless opportunities it offers. Alongside entrepreneurship, I appreciate having full control over decisions and the direction of my work, which allows me to craft my career on my terms. About Working in Cosmetology:
Growing up, I was inspired by watching my mother run her own salon and employ other stylists. From a young age, I enjoyed styling not only my own hair but also that of family and friends. I am fascinated by the science of cosmetology, which encompasses everything from hair coloring to using educational tools to understand hair health and the reasons behind hair changes.
Client Experience:
Clients in my chair will find it a therapeutic space where they can be themselves and discuss anything. They will enjoy being pampered with the latest styles while receiving educational information about the hair process. I provide all clients with knowledge on how to maintain their hair at home.
Specialty in Hair Styling:
I specialize in hair styling and coloring, possessing a broad knowledge base of hair types ranging from Type 1 (straight) to Type 4 (coily). My education at Aveda Institute Beauty School has prepared me well to work with people of all nationalities.
Vision of Success in the Industry:
For me, success in this industry means having the opportunity to work on production sets and give back to the community by mentoring other stylists and becoming an educator for the next generation of professionals.
What’s Next for You?
I’ve successfully launched my product line, G Protected, and now I’m focused on building more visibility, awareness, and brand placement. Although we’re a fairly new brand, we bring years of expertise in protective hair care. Additionally, I’ve recently secured a trusted distribution company to help expand our reach.

G Protected Products cater to all hair types and promote healthy hair with earth-grown ingredients such as castor oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, aloe, and more, renowned for their strengthening and nourishing properties. In the hair community, the health of hair is often neglected, leading to conditions such as traction alopecia, tinea capitis, and other scalp conditions, which my hairline addresses. The Gprotected brand is rapidly growing and always ready to evolve with trends while maintaining the integrity of the brand by remaining organic and aware of all micro-influences.
