Black Men + Voting = POWER

As we approach the final stretch before Election Day, it’s crucial to recognize the power and responsibility that Black men hold in this pivotal moment. With less than 30 days to go, we have a chance to shape the future of our country. The fact that we can walk into a polling station, cast our vote, and make our voices heard is not something to take lightly. Our ancestors fought, sacrificed, and even died for us to have this right. It’s our duty to honor their struggle by showing up.

Now that the dust has settled from President Biden stepping down and endorsing Vice President Kamala Harris, the question is: What are you going to do? From where I sit, it’s clear—this election is all about the Harris/Walz ticket. Kamala Harris is not only prepared; she’s more than qualified to lead the United States into a brighter future. She’s proven time and again that she has the experience, the vision, and the strength to guide this country. She is ready to lead now.

The Harris/Walz campaign is gaining momentum, raising record numbers in fundraising and capturing the energy of a country at a crossroads. The Democratic National Convention was a sight to behold, packed wall to wall with people from every state. That energy is contagious, and it’s up to us to take it forward. The decisions made in this election will affect our communities, our families, and our futures for generations to come.

Black men, we’ve been here before—our votes have always carried weight. But too often, we’ve seen our influence diminished because we haven’t turned out in the numbers we could. This time, it’s different. Our vote matters more than ever. The Harris/Walz ticket represents progress, stability, and a commitment to the issues that directly impact us—healthcare, criminal justice reform, economic opportunity, and more. But none of that matters if we don’t show up.

So, as Election Day nears, ask yourself: What are you going to do with the power in your hands? Our ancestors made sure we would have this opportunity. Let’s make sure we use it.
