What inspired you to become an entrepreneur

What inspired me to become an entrepreneur is passion and freedom. As a young boy growing up, raised by elderly parents whose upbringing focused on pullin crops and farming for a living for their parents and being employed at manufacturing companies such as General Motors and hospital positions “Central Processing.” Growing up watching my parents work long hours to provide for our family ignited a fire within me to want to change the dynamics of traditional history. To be transparent I’ve known since a kid I would be a successful entrepreneur and the first billionaire in my family. I truly believe that living on purpose with passion and financial freedom is the ultimate goal and road to success though entrepreneurship isn’t easy but worth it. I am forever grateful for all of my elders and ancestors who ve paved the way working hard and retiring from manufacturing positions to push me into purpose and entrepreneurial spirit. Watching how the traditional black heritage cycle influenced our culture I was inspired to bring a different sauce to show “we as people ” could create more out of our lives than a 9-5. Besides, if we don’t chase the dreams and the purpose God gave us then we will be helping someone else live out their dreams at whatever cost.


Tell us about your books and where they can be purchased?

I am excited to discuss my books and where my publications can be purchased for those who would love to support and read my material. In 2019 I decided to become a self-published author because of a fire inside of me to tell stories about real life others could relate to. Growing up as a young boy there was so much talent and passion inside of me that I wanted to release but again coming from a background of the working class “standard” upbring dreams got shot down easily. My late father always said boy you better get a job or a trade, you trying that entrepreneurship stuff isn’t going to work that’s hard. Allowing those who were afraid to jump and always depending on “retirement” or comfortability got the best of me at times. I remember my father asking his manager to get me into general motors and I refused (thought I was crazy) but knew God had another path for me.

This book is about “jumping” and taking the risk for the reward that we often pray about. In reality we all talk big on faith and wanting financial freedom but are scared to do the work and start NOW with what we have. If not now then when is the first novel released that really told my story of how jumping allowed me to tap into my creativity because this isn’t just a hobby anymore but how I’d be paying the bills becoming a full time entrepreneur. If you’re one of those who wait, talk about it or just journal but don’t pray and work like the faith we discuss nothing will happen. In order to be great at anything you must first believe in yourself and see yourself where you desire to be. Lastly this book talks about how we are always seeking the funds to turn our dreams into reality when in reality we have everything we need at our fingertips and God will lead the rest of the way.

Motivational Talk was my sophomore self-published book to motivate individuals to keep going. In this self help book I kept the dialogue short and sweet because so many people are distracted with social media, cell phones and just don’t like to read anymore. This read is straight to the point and releasing this book in the middle of covid is something that needed to be said. Often times we have friends that are most times the “yes man” but in reality we need friends that’s going to motivate us and keep it real at all times. If you’re looking for some quotes and quotations then this would be the book for you, a short and quick read but lots of valuable information. I remember the world being shut down, all of us in the house. My mindset was still work and keep pushing because one day this’ll all be over and life will be back to normal. 

Real Estate is a very competitive industry.  What keeps you motivated to serve your clients?

Yes, Real Estate is a very competitive industry but only the strong survive. I believe what’s for you is for you, simple. Reflecting back to making the decision to become a real estate agent my goal was to always grow and bring a different flavor to the real estate game. Most times in everything I decide to do my mindset will always be to out work the work I did yesterday and create my own world of real estate. In reality each agent brings something new to the field but my goal was to become this huge mogul in the real estate industry. I am motivated to serve my clients, making a difference and leaving a mark in this world is important to me. If I were being transparent my clients are everything to me because without them hiring me to assist with the sale of their homes or purchase of homes I wouldn’t exist. Believe it or not so many individuals don’t understand the dynamic and value added to families when purchasing homes. I am motivated daily to teach first time homebuyers how to start the process and navigate them to owning wealth. Many buyers do not understand homeownership, equity, and ownership is one of the ways to wealth. There are so many people who are conditioned to renting because of their upbringing, doubt or just being comfortable receiving assistance when that should be temporary. The motivation remains in seeing each client obtain the goal of selling their residence or purchasing a home or investment property and the smiles on their faces along with their children, there is no better feeling. 

What type of an experience will a client get when working with you as a realtor?
My clients receive a five star experience when working with The Dancing Realtor Brand! Yes, I am a brand. Clients that hire me as their realtor receive an honest, loyal and hardworking agent to assist them through the entire process. As a realtor my clients needs/wants always come first with us scheduling free homebuyers or sellers consultations so we can see if we fit and the expectations on both ends.  My clients also receive access to me with questions, concerns, lending questions and building a lifetime friendship because selling or purchasing are both huge processes in our lifetime. I believe in long term relationships not just a sale and goodbye. In addition each client receives a closing gift from me and a choice of song in which I dance for or with my client on social media platforms. Creating The Dancing Realtor Brand has been amazing thus far especially when It’s time to celebrate the accomplishment of each client. The brand has done so well that my clients will get upset if we don’t dance or their celebratory dance isn’t posted within an hour on social media after leaving the closing table. So my clients receive a five star realtor and client treatment along with a lifelong friendship many realtors don’t offer that. 

What does success look like for you?

Success for me is growing in my environment/lane constantly while growing as an individual. I see myself successful once I’ve completed my goals and I am able to help another person up the ladder accomplish their goal. Success for me is never OWNED but always RENTED so striving daily to win in every area of life emotionally, mentally, physically and living on your own terms how you want, when you want and being recognized for a job well done. Let’s be honest, we all work hard at something in life, right? So why not be recognized for a job well done while you can smell the roses? Success is striving daily for greatness and giving the best I have to create what success looks like for me. Lastly, become emotionally and financially stable while growing daily and achieving my goals individually and collectively. 

Where would you like to see your brand in the next five years?

I would love to see myself where God has designated for me in the next five years. If the choice was mine on this journey, I would love to see myself as a billion dollar brand. As a realtor household brand, best selling author, actor and filmmaker. In the next five years I see my brand as huge as an empire that gives back to others. Big screen, well known successful serial entrepreneurs with many streams of income while providing opportunity for others that are ready for a change as well. Lastly, a motivational speaker assisting those high school, college students and adults that required some raw inspiration and an example of anything you put your mind to can be done. In the next five years get ready to see me everywhere on all screens, magazines, interviews and conferences as one of the biggest brands in the world.

From an early age, Anthony learned the importance of sacrifice, determination, & service.
