What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?
I was Inspired to become an entrepreneur because I never really saw myself working for someone else. I mean, I went to college and majored in Business Management. So I always said, after my professional athletic career, I would always own my own business and be my own entity. I wanted to make sure whatever i do, I want it to make a positive impact on the world, to make a difference, to inspire the world and always give the world some sort of HOPE.
Tell us about your book.
Yes this is the 2nd book that I have released under my belt and I’m super excited about this book mainly because it comes from a very deep and passionate place when I was writing it. God gave me the vision as I was going thru a very dark place. The title of my book is “The Rebirth and Resurrection of a New Man, Faithful & Focused”. The basic meaning behind the book is sometimes you have to die a little inside in order to be Reborn and Rise again as a stronger and wiser version of yourself. I had to allow God to strip away the old me, the me that I had grown to dislike and hate, and allow him to re-create a new me for him to use for HIS will and not mine.

Its been a very eye opening experience processing the racism in our country. But one thing I am proud about is that I believe, one of the reasons God allowed someone like Trump into office is to expose the incredible amount of racism there is in this country. To me its beyond sad. We have witnessed how much people of color are hated. And really for no reason at all. I still can’t wrap my head around why there are people that hate another race. God created us all equal. God created an abundance of people of all backgrounds and cultures and to me its such a beautiful thing to embrace. But some people just don’t see it that way and that’s why I say its very sad to witness the mentality of so much hate.
What has been the most challenging aspect of your career?
The most challenging aspect of my career has just been being a black man in the entertainment and business world honestly. Its like you get locked into a box and they want you to stay locked in that box with no hope of breaking out and overcoming certain boundaries and limitations. But I have always been the kind of person that felt like I can’t be stopped no matter what you try to do to me. What God has for you is for you and no man on earth can stop it.
Tell us about you acting and modeling.
I started acting and modeling back in 2006 after my career ending sports injury. I have been blessed to have traveled all over the world modeling for different big brand names such as Sprite, Gatorade, Adidas and many more. I have over 70 film and television credits under my belt thus far and steadily climbing. I am so excited for the upcoming major projects that I have coming up.
Where do you see your career in the next five years?
In the next 5 years, I see myself as one of the most powerful and influential Motivational Speakers in the world. I see myself owning a powerhouse film production company with major blockbuster projects being released from my company. I see myself employing thousands of people under my company Kenyon Glover Enterprises. I see myself as a New York Times best selling Author for 5 years in a row.. I see myself impacting, encouraging, empowering and changing the lives of millions of people around the world.
