What inspired you to become a massage therapist?
I’ve been receiving massages since 2008 and enjoyed the touch and benefits massage therapy has on my body and mind. It helps with muscle recovery as well as relaxation of the nervous system. So, I wanted to share the same with others and I have also been told by friends that I have the gift of touch.
Tell us about your company, certification and training.
I am certified as a massage practitioner from Potomac Massage Training Institute in Silver Spring Maryland as of March 2022 with 650 hours of training in massage therapy.
Tell us about your services.
The Magic Touch by Eli specializes in Swedish Massage for overall therapeutic relaxation and Deep Tissue Massage to focus on areas that require concentrated attention such tight hamstrings and glutes. We also incorporate stretching and offer yoga to improve flexibility and range of motion.
What are the health benefits from massages?
The health benefits from massages are improved blood circulation, relaxation and muscle recovery.
What makes for a good client?
A good client is one that books an appointment because they care for their overall health. Each client is unique and The Magic Touch by Eli adjusts accordingly and aims to ensure that they are satisfied with the service received.
How do you stay motivated in such a competitive industry?
I stay motivated by the repeat clients that continue to book because they enjoy my services. There will always be competition but there will only be one The Magic Touch by Eli.
Where would you like to see your career in the next five years?
I would like to see my clientele base grow within the next five years to maximize my earning potential and perhaps open up my own private spa.
