The new 2024 Subaru Impreza introduced several exciting updates and improvements over last year, including enhanced design, an EyeSight driver-assistance suite, and other standard advanced safety features that provide more peace of mind on the road.

The six-generation Impreza also receives an upgraded infotainment system with larger touchscreen displays. The base model features a 7.0-inch touchscreen, while the Sport and RS trim levels have 11.6-inch touchscreens. The larger screens control various functions and make it easier to navigate.

On the exterior side, the 2024 Impreza gets a refreshed design with sleek lines and a more aggressive front grille. The sporty styling of the Sport trim is further enhanced with unique 18-inch alloy wheels and distinctive exterior accents.

Compared to the 2023 model year, the Impreza has a redesigned front end that looks sleeker. The front grille is now more expansive with a hexagonal shape, and the triangular LED headlights sit at a sharp angle. The sporty front bumper has also been reshaped and is now separated from the aggressively shaped foglamp ports.

Power: The base model Subaru Impreza is a 5-door with a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that generates 152 horsepower. In addition, this year marks a return of the rally-inspired Impreza RS from the late 1990s, which offers sportier exterior trim and a 2.5-liter flat-four engine that produces 182 horsepower.

The engines are paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT) and Subaru’s Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive system, complementing its power while delivering more fuel efficiency. The ride is smooth and seamless during highway and city driving. They provide enhanced traction and control in all road and weather conditions.

Models/Price: The 2024 Subaru Impreza 5-door is available in three trims, including the base Impreza 5-door that comes equipped with a long list of standard features, including a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto integration, and a rearview camera. The base model 2024 Subaru Impreza starts at $24,115, the Sport is $26,085, and the top-of-line RS is $2,005, including destination and delivery.

All models are equipped with Subaru’s EyeSight driver-assistance suite, which features advanced safety such as adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and forward collision warning with automatic emergency braking.

The Impreza 5-door Sport trim offers a sportier driving experience and additional performance-oriented features, including 18-inch alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension, and unique exterior styling elements. It also has sport seats with red stitching, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system. The Harman Kardon is optional on the RS models for $2,070 and includes a power driver seat and a moonroof.

Fuel Efficiency: The 2024 Impreza also comes with a larger gas tank, which has more range than last year. The EPA rates the new Impreza at 27 city/34 highway MPG, while the sportier RS model averages 26 city/33 highway mpg.
