Tell us about your company and services.

Elevate Construction, which I founded in January 2021, specializes in delivering high-quality, innovative construction solutions tailored to our clients’ unique needs. We focus on both residential and commercial projects, ranging from remodels and renovations to larger-scale new builds. Our mission is to provide efficient, sustainable construction while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and client satisfaction. We prioritize transparency, efficiency, and quality in every project, ensuring that our clients not only get the results they envision but also enjoy the journey.

What inspired you to become an entrepreneur?

The inspiration to become an entrepreneur came from my passion for creating and building, not just structures but also relationships and opportunities. I saw a gap in the construction industry where customer service and quality could be enhanced, and I wanted to be the one to make that change. Being an entrepreneur allows me the freedom to innovate, lead a team, and provide services that reflect my personal values of integrity, quality, and community building. It’s not just about starting a business but about making a meaningful impact. It also allows me to interact with people, I have a real passion to help people!

How do you maintain your viability in such a competitive industry?

Staying competitive in construction requires adaptability, continuous learning, and a customer-first approach. At Elevate Construction, we focus on building strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing value through personalized solutions. We also stay current with industry trends and technology, incorporating sustainable building practices and new methods that improve efficiency and reduce costs. By maintaining a high standard of communication and transparency, we foster trust, which has been key to our growth and long-term client relationships.

What does success look like for you?

Success, for me, is a combination of delivering exceptional results for our clients and creating a thriving, positive work environment for my team. It’s about reaching milestones that are not just financial but also personal—building long-lasting relationships, creating a reputation for quality, and fostering a sense of pride in the work we do. Seeing the impact we have on the communities we work in, whether through residential homes or commercial spaces, is a major part of what success looks like for Elevate Construction.

Where do you see yourself in the next five years?

In the next five years, I envision Elevate Construction becoming a regional leader in sustainable construction practices, with an expanded portfolio of larger commercial projects while still maintaining our residential roots. I also see us growing our team, fostering more opportunities for employees to advance, and establishing a stronger presence in the community through partnerships and philanthropic efforts. Personally, I aim to continue growing as a leader, finding new ways to innovate in the industry, and ensuring that we always stay true to our core values.

What advice would you give someone who seeks to become an entrepreneur?

My advice to aspiring entrepreneurs is to be prepared for the challenges but stay focused on your vision. Surround yourself with people who believe in your mission and can provide support when things get tough. Never stop learning, whether it’s about your industry, leadership, or business management. Most importantly, always stay connected to your “why”—the reason you started. That passion and purpose will keep you going through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship. Lastly, don’t be afraid to take risks, but ensure they are calculated and in line with your long-term goals.
