Earl N. Caldwell, II brings global, national and local experience and perspective via law, education, business, finance, non-profit, marketing and development. Currently, he is the Special Advisor to the Chairman of Gudja & Partners Inc. an international Health and Wellness and Investment business focusing in Africa; an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago School of Law and Western New England University School of Law, and he has been the Chairman of the International Committee for the Illinois State Black Chamber of Commerce and Special Advisor to the Chairman of the National Black Chamber of Commerce.

His advising and business roles focus includes providing funding opportunities for businesses in Africa and US companies doing business in Africa and facilitating “getting deals done.” He coordinated the December 2024 Zimbabwe Trade Mission for the Illinois State Black Chamber of Commerce. At Loyola, he served as the Interim Director of the Curt and Linda Rodin Center for Social Justice. He has been living in West Africa and working in Africa for more than two decades. He created various student-facing engagement platforms such as the Different STEM® Conference, which explores the global intersection of sports, technology, entertainment and media and the Name Image and Likeness (NIL) Competition, which is an inter-disciplinary contest which intersects sports, entertainment, branding, marketing, business and law for high school, college, graduate and law students.
Prof. Caldwell has a BA from Morehouse College, JD from Washington University School of Law, and a LL.M from Loyola University Chicago School of Law.
