It has impressive features, like a rearview camera and lane departure warning, to make your driving experience safer and more comfortable. Base prices include the Cargo Van (at $43,500), Crew Van (at $46,700), Passenger Van (at $48,700), and Cab Chassis (at $47,300 MSRP).
The capacity is determined by the wheelbase size, which includes 144”, 170”, and 170” extended. The base Sprinter delivers a 6,768 lb. maximum payload, plus cargo space up to 532.6 ft³.
Power: The 2023 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter swapped the V-6 engine for a twin-turbo inline four-cylinder with gas or diesel that produces 188 horsepower and is paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. The new four-cylinder turbo diesel uses direct injection to siphon more power with less fuel. It saves up to 18 percent more fuel than the six-cylinder. However, the 3.0-liter V6 is available as an option. It generates 188 horsepower with 325 lb-ft of torque.
Safety: Thankfully, there are a variety of safety features available for customizing or purchasing a Sprinter Cargo van. These features include proximity sensors, blind spot monitoring, lane departure warnings, and collision avoidance systems. Some models also include adaptive cruise control, rearview cameras, and even automatic emergency braking. However, the passenger van can be had for around $5000 more without the expense of purchasing ad installing aftermarket windows and seats.
